Speaking of new hires, NEDC is extremely excited to be one of the only cities in the country (if not the only city) with a technology entrepreneur as the leader of its public school system. He started a company in the NEDC-operated eTec incubator before selling to Jostens. Economic development professionals across the country would be envious of such a distinction. But, to be clear, by all accounts, Dr. Migliorino is also a tremendous educator and Norman is lucky to have him as Dr. Joe Siano’s replacement.
